1. What are your hours of operation?
Monday through Friday from 6:30 am to 6:30 pm

3. What sort of curriculum do you use?
Our original curriculum is one of a kind and has been researched, developed, and refined by a team of certified teachers for over thirty years. We are extremely knowledgeable on what it takes for a child to succeed in the Texas School system, and we pride ourselves in providing the best kindergarten preparation for your child.
4. Do you offer any tuition discounts?
We offer a 10% discount off the oldest child's when two or more children are enrolled from the same immediate family.
We offer a 10% discount off the oldest preschool child's tuition when one of the parents is active military or a local ISD teacher.
Only of the above discounts can be applied per family.
We offer two weeks of free tuition per calendar year, called a Vacation Tuition Credit, after your child has been enrolled for four consecutive months.
5. What is your policy on parent visits and phone calls?
We have an open-door policy; parents are invited to visit and observe their child's classroom at any time. Parents may also call to inquire about their child's day.
6. What are your drop-off and pick-up policies?
You may drop your child off or pick your child up at any time during our hours of operation that is most convenient to your schedule; however, in order for your child to gain the most out of our curriculum, we recommend children attend daily between 8:30 AM and 4:00 PM.
7. Are meals and snacks included in tuition?
Yes! We provide breakfast, a hot lunch, and an afternoon snack for all children (infants after they turn 1 year old.) During the school year, our after-school program will be served breakfast if they attend in the morning and a snack when they arrive from school. Our menu is on a three-week rotation and is posted at the school.
8. What should my child wear to school?
We do not have school uniform or require standardized dress; however, we do have some recommendations for what your child should wear for safety and comfort:
Closed toe, closed heeled, soft-soled shoes (such as tennis shoes) should be worn- sandals, flip-flops, and crocs are not recommended.
Clothing should be free of any drawstrings, and excessive jewelry, such as necklaces, should remain at home.
9. What are some of the safety features that HDAC provides?
Our school is equipped with fire, smoke, and strategically placed fire extinguishers and sprinkler system that are inspected on a regular basis.
Emergency procedure drills are conducted regularly to acquaint child with emergency procedures to be followed in the case of a fire, inclement weather, or school lockdown.
The entrance of our school is secured be a locking mechanism that only school personnel can operate; a security camera is recording at the entrance at all times.
Authorized family contacts must show valid photo identification in order to pick up a child.
